12 Step Music Fest Volunteer Crews

Registration Handles ticket sales and ticket/wristband exchange at festival entrance. Requires working with money; attention to detail; greeting the public, and providing helpful information. Retail experience is a plus. Front gate shifts begin Wendesday noon and is a 24 hour crew thru Saturday afternoon.

Traffic & Safety Crew Maintains safe traffic flow in park, directs cars in line for registration, and ensures general safety throughout the festival campgrounds. Serve as eyes and ears for Festival Security. The crew works on foot. T&S operates 24-hours, so a night schedule is available. T&S begins Thursday morning festival week, at 9 am. Volunteers should arrive by as early as possible Thursday or Wednesday night if possible.

Food Concession Crew - Festival Food Concession includes taking orders and collecting festival money. Shift starts Thursday 9am, all other days starts at 6am and run thru 2 am each day.

Emergency Services:
Specialized Crew provides Advanced Medical services, including preventative medicine to all persons at the festival. Applicants must have medical backgrounds, from First Responders to Physician and must have Florida Licensure. All applicants must be interviewed by the EMS Director. EMT's are the most needed on this crew, licensed in the state of Florida. This is a 24 hour crew.

Information Booth This crew serves two functions. Info Booth volunteers answer questions, provide information about the site and surrounding community, and oversee the Lost & Found. You must be resourceful, patient, and friendly, and a good communicator. Crew duties begin Thursday at noon. Other days shifts start at 9am.

Artist Relations This crew works with all the performers of the festival. Must be able to make artists feel welcome and treat "special." Good communication and organizational skills. Works backstage and will need to "run" for various things. Starts Wednesday at 6pm.

Stage Crew Will work with Stage manager. Assist changing stage equipment between sets, helping artists while on stage etc. Experience a must. Starts 6pm on Thursday

Merchandise Handles merchandise sales. Folding and stocking t shirts and other merchandise. Requires working with money; attention to detail; . Retail experience is a plus. Shift begins Thursday at 9am.

Activities Helps organize and run various activities throughout the weekend. Must be active, fun and outgoing.

Set up/Breakdown This crew runs from Wendesday 9am til... and  Thursday morning at 7am till...., and then Sunday 11am till..... You must be able to be available for all three shifts. It is required that your able to arrive Tuesday night or early Wendesday morning. You will be off duty from Thur afternoon till Sunday morning.

Kitchen Crew This crew handles all kitchen duties including prep, stocking and general clean up. Shifts start Wendesday noon thru Sunday noon.

NOTE: Volunteers must be available and ready to go to work, as noted above, unless other arrangements are made with Crew Chiefs. If you cannot arrive till Friday, it’s not likely you’ll be able to volunteer. All volunteers must work a full schedule consisting of between 16 to 24 hours.
