Starving Artist Tour

Starving Artist Tour consist of two entities, the front man, singer songwriter Vanessa Ria and the fierce guitarist Daniel Blanco.
Cuban born vocalists, Vanessa Ria started singing before she could even put words together. Growing up in local talent shows, performing for family and friends, she continued her studies in The American Musical and Dramatic Academy, a music conservatory in New York City. Returning to her home town of Miami, Fl Vanessa Ria continued her resume by songwriting for unsigned artist, starred in "Surpresas" the Broadway adaptation of "Nunsense" , "Destino a la Fama" another musical production, plus studio work and performances all over New York and Miami. Worked with Grammy Winner music producer Chiba Antoine, and is currently the mastermind of Starving Artist Tour.
Venezuelan born guitarist Daniel Blanco, began his musical studies with Jesus Potella in 1997. He played in Balder a heavy metal band. During college, he was part of "Gaita Bans". During those days, he worked also as a roadie for major entertainers in Caracas like Kiara, Jesus Enrique "Divine", Los Hormanos Rodriguez, among others. He attended the program for Professional Recording, in Covenant Music School, in Caracas, and worked with different bands as a sound engineer in live performances and recording sessions. He continued his musical studies with Pablo Mendoza an excellent fusion guitar player. He played for the gothic metal band LUNATENEBRA before moving to the USA. In Florida Daniel has worked as a session player with the Christian band, Temple of the Outcast. He has also worked with the singer songwriter Candice Fae. He worked as a session guitarists and recording engineer with Hip Hop independent artist Kiko. Daniel has now joined forces with Vanessa Ria, forming the Starving Artist Tour, an up and coming band slowly but surely making their own waves.
Since their debut, Starving Artist Tour has positively made their mark in the music industry. Playing in venues as Little Hooligans, The Wall Flower Gallery and The Little Big Music Arts Festival to name a few, they are making their mark one song at a time. They are a little band, with a big sound, and if you have not heard of them...do not worry, soon you will!
